After completing a Certification program at Cal State Northridge in 1999, Natalie began her career at a Landscape Architectural firm. Working on public projects from the ground up she acquired a diverse array of knowledge and expertise on everything from client care to horticulture, and irrigation to concrete. The projects she managed included private gardens, playgrounds, skate parks and beachfront public plazas.

In 2004, she made the move towards landscape design for the private homeowner by founding Minanda Landscape Design. She has seen it grow from a one woman operation to a 3 division company with a dynamic team of design and horticultural professionals.

As owner and principal designer, Natalie believes in creating spaces that speak to each individual client and their design aesthetic. She uses a diverse array of plant materials in the garden that reflect beauty, plant diversity, sustainability, and are appropriate for the unique Southern California climate. Always adhering to the Watershed Wise Approach, all projects are designed with the focus of conserving and retaining water on site.

She has won awards for her work and spent multiple seasons working on the hit landscape makeover show HGTV’s The Outdoor Room with Jamie Durie (2010-12).
